let the games begins

 Well welcome 2011! It's the first weekend of January and there are some states that are having dogshows..Not in mine.... I feel cheated but did I want to travel over 1000 miles for a weekend of shows.... Not this time...

This upcoming weekend will be the first.. Am I ready ? Hell no!! Well not quite as ready as I wish to be... Oh the dog towels are done.. the tack box is clean... Crates are clean.... Still need to do dog nails... talk to clients and keep an eye on the weather reports... Oh need to buy nylons, iron suits and load the van.... Yep this will be a busy week.

Am I mentally ready.. I always am in the zone.... Am I physically ready.. NO I wish I could lose the weight and wish my hair was hi lighted and and and.... but all I can say is let the games begin

dogshow vs. football playoffs

 OK... dogshows are beginning next weekend and I have to make sure me and the dogs have our game on... the problem is there is another game on... the NFL playoffs and our team is playing next Sunday... Dilema yep..

Inbetween showing dogs handlers and probably myself will be hunting down whomever brought the TV and  catching up on the team.. One good thing is that the announcer will keep all of in the ring updated, Back in 1980, while the US hockey team played the Soviet Union hockey team Bob Hastings had this little black and white TV and we were at the old Seattle show when we were at the exhibition center. Here was about 30 handlers and assistants gathered watching this magical game...

Dogshowing is a great sport but we do recognise others while we are there... so on a super weekend of showing we will seeking out the other sport.
